In this first movie Mik and Jam set up for a small test of what it would look like to blow up a ½L nitrogen bomb under water. There are actually two bottles in the lake, but one of them is only used as a sinker to keep the bomb under the surface. Eventually, when the bottle containing the nitrogen began to swell it surfaced and only 2/3 of the bomb was under the surface at the time of the explosion, but it still had a great effect:
With this second test we wanted to find out which effect a nitrogen bomb would have buried in sand. The first thing we did was to bury a bomb about 1m in sand, but that wasn't exactly succesful, succes being a huge explosion that is. Then we tried to have the bottle buried right to the neck and that was much closer to what we wanted, and ofcourse we got it on film.
